Minute Man, Patriot and 1775 Society level members are invited to this year’s annual Friends’ Colonial Reception on Sunday, October 18th. The Friends’ Staff and Board of Directors are looking forward to treating members to an entertaining afternoon filled with eighteenth century frivolity. Period-inspired refreshments and beverages will be served and guests will also be treated to colonial-era musical performances by local musicians.

Join us at Hartwell Tavern for the Friends’ Annual Family Day from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m., this Saturday, May 30th. Being held in cooperation with the Lincoln Minute Men, who will be at the Hartwell Tavern from 10:00 – 4:00, the Friends will bring additional special activities, games and refreshments for the afternoon hours, including some 18th century style kites to try flying. Members are encouraged to show their member cards and be treated to special refreshments and the chance to dress-up for a family colonial costume portrait! Visitors to the Park during Patriots’ Day Weekend may have noticed a new addition near the North Bridge Visitor Center… GayGrace Teas Mobile Tea Room. This English cottage tea room on wheels will offer tea and tea fare from the customer service window of the truck.
Please feel free to say hello to Gay when she is in the park! The tea room will next be in the Park for Memorial Day and then again on Saturdays in July and August.
